The Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners has a simple and complete website. The past essays and answers available on this webpage come from this official page of the bar examiners.

The Massachusetts bar exam, a 2-day exam, consists of the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), weighted 50%; and ten Massachusetts essay questions, weighted 50%.

The following subjects may be tested on the Massachusetts bar exam: agency (business associations), business organizations, civil procedure (Massachusetts and federal), constitutional law, contracts, including UCC Article 2 sales, criminal law and procedure, descent & distribution of estates (wills, trusts, and estates), domestic relations (family law), evidence (Massachusetts and federal), federal jurisdiction, professional responsibility, real property, including real estate finance, torts, trusts (wills, trusts, and estates), Unfair or Deceptive Practices (G.L.c.93A) (consumer protection), Uniform Commercial Code, Articles 1-9 (including sales, negotiable instruments, and secured transactions), wills.
