Essay Critiques
This service costs $150 for five critiques.
Guided practice is a key to success on any bar examination. By now you probably have a good idea how I view getting ready for the bar examination. It’s like preparing for a big sporting event. You’ve got to have your law knowledge, your skills, your mind and your body in proper balance throughout the exam.
There are two ways I can help you pass the bar, beyond providing useful Seminars to help you review the law and sharpen your skills. One way is by tutoring you one-on-one, either by two-way video via Skype or on the phone. The other way is by giving you personal feedback on your writing without our getting together for a tutorial session.
Here’s how it works: You send me a practice exam in Word, RTF, or WordPerfect. I review your paper line-by-line and record an audio commentary about your work. In this recording I also answer any questions you might pose to me in your cover note with the exams. Usually I embed the audio into the document as an object and send it back to you. You open the document, click on the icon, and listen to the critique.
