Hiring a Bar Exam Tutor
You can hire me as a tutor by following this link. We can have one-on-one tutorial sessions by two-way video via Skype, or by telephone.
My hourly rate is $150 an hour, and a half-hour consultation is $75. Usually my students and I discuss practice essays, but black letter law issues aren’t uncommon, and sometimes we discuss scheduling or other practical issues related to bar exam preparation. Another tutorial service I provide is individual critiques of practice essay writing. You can learn more about that service right here.
All of the prominent bar review courses and tutors advertise on this website. I encourage you to check them out. See what they’ll tell you for free. Judge how well-written and thoughtful their on-line materials are. Get a sense for who they are. There’s an art to working with a tutor. Even a brilliant, clever, humble guy like me isn’t the right choice for everybody.
In case you’re curious, I wrote a series of articles for Law.Com about taking the bar exam. You can read them, along with other material, at this link.
